It has been a very long time I did not have any nature activities ever since a little angel came into my family
Since we have a long holidays during Hari Raya festive season, my friends and I decided to have camping at Gunung Rajah, which is located in Bentong. This time, we have quite a big group, including our 2 newbies, you will soon to know who these 2 newbies are
We gathered at a point in MRR2 on 30 August 2011 morning and headed to Bentong town for our breakfast.

While waiting for friends to arrive, our chief architect was discussing an under construction project behind the petrol station.

We arrived Bentong town about 9am for our breakfast.

About 10.30am, we reached Chamang Waterfall, which was our starting point.

A very nice place to cool our body.

The altitude is 210 meter at the car park.

Okay guys, time now is 10.50am, let’s start to explore the trail.

Opss… this is certainly a very challenging trail as we have to start to ascend more than 45 degree slope from the very beginning. Hope our 2 newbies like this

Okay, we have cleared the first hurdle. Ready, get set, ……..we have our 2nd hurdle to go…… One of our newbies on the right seems a bit exhausted. Friend, we have a long way to go, this is just a beginning

Mmmm…. looks like not a very tough trail

Mmmm….the trail is not that tough here…..

Big water pipes are built along the trail.

Our “Ghost Architect” is inspecting the burst pipe. Please send people to repair as soon as possible.

We have our “Orang Asli” children welcoming our arrival.

A good photo to understand how simple these people are living in. We should be thankful for what we are having now in the city.

We must know how to appreciate the nature that bring us such a lovely flower along our journey. Isn’t life should be like this ? Appreciate what people has done good to us while we are going through our life journey.

This beautiful butterfly is enjoying its life …. I wish I can be like it also

Our 2 newbies are ahead of me now

He can even run on such a tough road….

Oppss… our friend already exhausted.

Yes, he is determined to walk until the end. Ganbatte !

11.30am, we have our first rest.

Don’t give up, we know you can do it !

Another simple house we can see along our trail.

Introducing our Macho Newbie, Mr Thomas.

At 12:10pm, our altitude now is 440 meter.

Guys, we are moving into the jungle now.

Although living in the jungle, ants are still working hard.

Let’s have a rest here. (Pic by Thomas)

Same type of Fungus ?

Does another knows what is this ?

Nepenthes or Monkey Cup.

Another type of Fungus in green color ?

1:37pm, we reached a water point.

The altitude now is 645 meter.

Ok guys, we take a rest here and have our lunch.

At last, the team leader says we can rest…..

The chicken rice is so delicious up here

All food are delicious when you feel hungry in the jungle

Having lunch in such a nature environment, you can’t find it in city

Listening to the flow of stream is a way to relax our body

Small durian ?

Our Ghost friend is enjoying the scenery while ascending. Such a slope is not a big deal for him as he can float when he likes
Finally, we reached the camp site at about 4:45pm. It took us almost 6 hours to reach here. But according to our team leader, the normal trekking time to camp site here should be around 4 hours. Maybe that is for a season climber like him.

We have our first Bungalow built by Thomas

Follow by our Mr Kwan’s Bungalow

Next, we have our long house built for 5 people

And 2nd long house belongs to 4 strong men

Our friends can’t wait to enjoy into cozy water

What ? You want me to zoom in ? Ok Ok

Mmmm….looks like our ghost king also feel tiring
