This is why our 2 friends, sacrificing their mission to the summit, prepare a very delicious red bean soup for us.

Our friend decided to conquer Mount Kota Kinabalu next year. We know he has the determination and we believe he will surely stand on the top of Mount KK !

We dropped by a famous restaurant for our lunch + Hi Tea + Dinner

First, we ordered 12 cans of 100 plus followed by 12 coconuts

To quench our thirst and reduce our body heat

Kampong Chicken ?

Long beans fried with onion and porks

Home made bean curd, good to eat

Fried vegetables

Fried fish

Braised pork belly with yam dish

Fried squirt

Noodle rice + chicken + ginger

 

We really have a wonderful camping experience at Gunung Rajah. Thanks to :

1. Our Team Leader for his charismatic leadership.
2. Our 2 newbies who have prepared a very delicious red bean soup for us.
3. Our chief chef who prepared wonderful dinner for us
4. Our morning chef who prepared a very good simple breakfast for us.
5. Not forgetting our big brother and the other 3 friends who accompanied us during the tough time along the trail

9:29am, we reached a water point.

We are only at 1030 meter and the time now is 10:19am

11:35am, we arrive the first peak of Gunung Rajah

These two youngsters are really excellent !

We have to climb up from the bald rock there, feeling exciting ? Or scary ?

We have to be very careful….

From this point onwards, it is an uphill task all the way

We found this last water point here but have to descend to the river to refill water, which we did not do.

When flowers grow among the trees, they look more prettier.

See, there are so many beautiful plants and flowers along the trail, just enjoy it

At last, we reached the peak of 1,685 meter at 1:10pm, about 4 hours from our camp site.

Yes, we did it !
