Sorry guys to keep you waiting for my 2nd day report
Actually, I was awaken around 4am by someone who was very hard working in his work of chopping trees with his “chainsaw machine”. It started with the small trees and then to the big trees. I did not know how long it lasted but I know I was trying my best not to disturb this hard working man and getting myself very hard to get back to sleep. ;D :>>
)
To the hard working man, I just come across an ad this morning in the newspaper, maybe you should bring along it next time when you go holiday so that you can reduce the sound of the machine. The product is called Silence. The price cost only RM54.88 for 50ml. I am sure you know where to get it, right ?
This is the lodge that we stayed. To me, it was comfortable and cleaned.
Across our lodge, there was a road named Gaya Street. The entire road was closed on Sunday to have this morning market. There were so many things we could buy in this morning market.
We saw lovely rabits being sold also.
And also many cute puppies could be found here.
We were recommended to have our breakfast at this coffee shop as it is famous for its curry noodles. You just have to wait to get a table.
There must be something so special that makes this coffee shop attracts so many people here.
If I tell you this coffee shop serves food faster than Mc Donald, would you believe ? After we made our order, the noodles were served to us in less than 5 minutes. Unbelievable ? You better believe it !
Here it is,the famous curry noodles.
While on our way to Mount Kota Kinabalu, we stopped by at Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort in Tuaran District. And of course, how could we miss the opportunity to have a shot with these 2 lovely ladies
Looks like it has a nice beach.
A pool for you to enjoy.
A very clean and fine sand beach.
After a short break at Rasa Ria Resort, we proceeded to look for our lunch in Tamparuli.
This hanging bridge is able to help when flood happens.
After having a clear picture, you know what I mean having a hanging bridge is useful during flooding time. This bridge I called it “Tamparuli Bridge”.
This is the market where you can buy a special type of “Chilli Padi.“
This is the famous “Fried Noodle” in Tuaran, served with BBQ pork and fried egg. The noodle is self made by the shop owner.
Mmmm, look at our friend here, must be too hungry huh :p
Fried egg with bitter gourd.
Local “sweet choy sum” fried with garlic.
Soup with fish balls, vegetables and spring roll.
After our delicious lunch, we headed to Kinabalu Park. It started to rain while we were on our way there and the road was not that straight and flat, we reached Strawberry Garden Hotel in about 1 hour time, where we put up a night there.
After check-in, my brother in law brought us to Kinabalu Pine Resort to have a feel of the tranquil environment. We were supposed to stay here but it was fully booked.
Three gentlemen taking a group photo with the back view of Mount Kinabalu.
Here is the family of a very kind host in KK during our stay there. My brother in law, sister and their lovely daughter
Hello, Mount KK, you are so beautiful, just couldn’t wait to meet you up there.
