Bumped into these just across the river.

A closer look, still not able to figure out what are these.
2nd trek does not look good.

Saw one more fungus.

The stream is clearer here.
Yellow Fungus ?
Opps… getting uphill task now.
There are really many type of Fungus here.

Friend, take your time…..

We thought the root was bleeding.

This ain’t easy man !!

I can’t find “Give Up” in my hiking dictionary
Just walk slow and observe the surrounding, you can find many funny plants.

I guess this is a sweet plant as many ants were there.

Life is always full of challenges, so does hiking.
I like this, small but cute !

This is the most exciting part along the journey.
Time to test our skills now…..
Finally…..

Our fittest man, despite taking photos for us, yet always ahead of us !

Let me show you how to climb vertically.

See, you have to use the leg and hand muscles, of course with the rock climbing skills also.
One more ?
Strong man say this is “wet wet water”
Our steady friend perfers a safer way.
You just need an umbrella to welcome our “Sifu” up there !
Come Master, I am ready to shield you away from the hot sun.

Assignment accomplished.

We are almost there, just few more steps.

Take a rest to pamper ourselves with this beautiful view.
I thought it’s only few more steps ?
This Fungus does not look very happy.

Mushroom again ?

This one looks like the one we eat at home.
I believe they are easy to grow any where in the jungle, as long as the place is moisture.

At last, we reached the top in about 1.5 hours.
We boilt water, have our
Pu-erh tea and our bread lunch. We decided next time to pack “
Roti Canai” for our lunch when we go hiking again. Mmm..it’s so tasty when you can have one at the top !
A view taken at the summit (825 m above sea level)

Another view from the summit.
Let’s remember we have our footsteps up here !
